We picked up another 2 inches early Wednesday morning which brough the 3 day total to 18 inches up top. The sun returned today and will be around again for Friday before some storms brush through the area over the weekend.
The storms will be focusing on the Pacific NW but we will get some moisture in the Sierra Saturday and again Sunday night. The snow will be very light with a dusting to maybe an inch on the mountain with each system.
Next week the ridge will be closer to the West coast pushing the storm track up into the Pacific NW. That will bring sunny weather for most of next week with mild temps.
The next chance for snow and cold looks to be next weekend. The forecast models have been flipping back and forth on a cold trough dropping down the coast bringing some snow. Beyond next weekend the pattern looks like it will become more favorable for storms. BA
