Storm Starts To Crank Thurday

Off to a little bit of a slow start today as expected with the first storm keeping precip up along the Western crest.  We are starting to see some good spillover into the basin this evening so the snow is picking up .  We could see 2-4 inches on the mountain by morning.

Then the bigger storm moves in tomorrow and Friday.  First the cold front brings heavy snow tomorrow afternoon, and then another wave of heavy snow with the center of the storm Friday morning.  Snow showers could linger into Friday night.

Still expecting 12-18 inches from this second storm with half falling Thursday and the other half Friday.  Then we could see a few more inches Friday afternoon into Friday night.  Total snowfall by Saturday moring of 12-18 inches at the base and 18-24+ inches at the summit.

It looks like a beautiful closing weekend with temperatures up into the 40's by Sunday with lots of sun.  Enjoy...BA
