The Snowmaking's Been Great But We're Ready for the Real Stuff!

We have had some of the best conditions in Tahoe with the snowmaking so far this winter.  The time has come however to leave the guns and let mother nature do her job.  There is a train of storms about to pull into Tahoe with a load of snow.

Models vary a little on the start of the precip but it looks like some light snow should start by Wednesday night.  On Thursday the precip could pick up a little and we could see 3-6 inches on the mountain by Thursday night.

On Friday a much stronger storm pushes in bringing snow levels up a bit to above mid-mtn at the start before crashing below the base by Saturday morning.  At the summit we could pick up 1-2+ feet by Saturday with several inches up to a foot at the base.

Then on Sunday much colder storm moves in that could bring another 1-2 feet of snow on the mountain.  That's not all as another storm pushes in next Tuesday with another foot or more possible.  After we are said and done we could see 3-5 feet of snow on the mountain over the next 9 days.

Stay tuned as we fine tune the details as the storms get closer.  BA
