Light Dusting for Thanksgiving, Then Man-Made Weather....

Not much has changed from yesterday's post.  The ridge is building in over the Rockies and the storms hitting the West Coast will hit  brick wall as they hit the back side of the ridge.

We should see some light snow on the mountain for Thanksgiving with maybe a light dusting of snow.  As we go into the weekend the ridge strengthens and some quiet weather moves in for a week or two.

The ridge will move back more over CA with time and then just offshore.  As cold troughs drop down to our East they will send in shots of colder air.  Highs will be in the 40's and lows in the 20's at night.  That will allow North Lake's largest snowmaking system to be able to expand more terrain.

I will continue scrutinizing the global pattern and looking for the next change in the pattern to stormy.  BA
