We picked up another 14 inches in the past 24 hours bringing totals up to 16 inches so far this week. The snow continues to fall and we should pick up 3-6 more inches today on the upper half of the mountain.
The snow will continue to fall steadily on the mountain through Friday bringing around 2-4 inches every 12 hours. The snow levels have come up a little so it's raining in the Village and at the base, but it will continue to snow on the upper half of the mountain.
By Friday we should have another 1-2 feet up top bringing the totals for the week to 2-3 feet. That will put down a nice base before the big cold storm pushes in Friday night bringing feet of fluffy powder on top.
The cold front will approach on Friday and snow levels will begin to fall back below the base lodge. The snow will fall hard Friday night and all day Saturday with the frontal passage. We could see 2-3 feet on the mountain by Saturday evening and 1-2 feet in the Village.
The snow showers will continue into the day on Sunday with the cold unstable air and moisture behind the front. We could see several more inches from these snow showers. That would bring the totals for the week to 4-7 feet on the mountain. BA
