We have had some beautiful weather on the mountain and that will continue through Friday. Then then we have some big changes from the weekend as a strong cold front ushers in much colder air.
Highs by Sunday should only be in the 20's on the mountain. We could see some light snow with the passage of the cold front but not expecting more than an inch.
For next week the cold air should stick around to start. On Wednesday a storm will approach from the Pacific. Forecast models are still trying to get a handle on the exact track of the storm. Right now it looks like a light snow producer bringing several inches.
Looking long-range it still looks like the pattern will be changing to a more stormy one. We could finally see a series of storms from the end of next week though the first week of March. BA
