Northstar picked up another 8 inches yesterday to bring the storm totals to 61 inches or just over 5 feet over the past 5 days up top. That made for the best conditions of the season and some great powder skiing yesterday with pleny of leftovers in the trees today.
The sun returned today and will be with us through Thursday. On Friday we have the chance for a snow showers as the cold from from a storm hitting the Pacific NW slides down over NV to our East. We could see another weak system on Monday that could bring another snow shower.
The forecast models are in disagreement once we get towards the middle of next week. Some bring in the chance of another weak storm that could bring some light snow. Others suggest the ridge off the coast could shift West enough for a stronger cold storm to dive down the West Coast. That could bring some decent accumulating snow. Stay tuned. BA
